މައިކެރިއަރ

The Family Court is a superior court established under Article 53(b) of Act No. 22/2010 (The Judicature Act of Maldives). As per Schedule 3 of the Act, the main jurisdiction of the Family Court is the adjudication of issues regarding divorce, annulment and separation in a marriage, and hearing cases involving family law. It also solemnizes marriages, register divorces, and deals with all matters relating thereto.
