Ministry of Islamic Affairs (MoIA) is the executive government authority in Republic of Maldives, managing the nation's all religious affairs.  The headquarters of MoIA is at the Islaimc Centre, formally knownas the Masjid Sultan Mohamed Thakurufaanul Auzam, located at the capital, Male' City., overseeing mosques and religious education, setting the national Islamic calendar, and supervising religious programs and community initiatives in line with Islamic principles.
