VAM Group has humble beginnings starting from 1979 by late Mr. Adam Moosa (retired Marine Captain) from an island called Velidhoo (Velidhoo Adam Moosa). He began as a sole trader in the Maldives and on 31st January 1994 formed Blue Horizon Private Limited (BH) to operate his yacht safari dhoni and to engage in the travel & tourism industry. Further on 12th May 1998 turned his trading business to a private limited company called, V.A.M & Company Private Limited (VAMCO). VAMCO is the exclusive distributor of Doosan Marine Diesel Engines(Daewoo) from South Korea, L&W compressors from Germany, Stamegna Generators from Italy, DONG-I Marine Transmission from South Korea, Baldwin filters from the USA, Webasto Marine Air Conditioners from Germany and Norporo Power systems from the USA. We also stock and sell VETUS, S.A. Mart and other marine equipment.
