We first opened our doors in 1997 as a proprietorship under the name Vadhufoshi, dealing solely in fishing tackle, with the mission of providing fishermen and enthusiasts alike with affordable and reliable products. We operate largely in retail, but also provide an avenue for wholesale for other retailers. With our growth over the years, we have now established ourselves as a leading retailer of fishing tackle in the Maldives, and have the largest range of fishing products in the country. Today, under Taakukee Private Limited, we deal with a network of suppliers of fishing tackle and snorkeling equipment from around the world. Over the course of our operation, we have cultivated an in-house range of products under the name Taakukee, that is now a trusted brand among our customer base.
