• Leave wage (upon completion of contract)

Job Description

• Performs necessary routine maintenance, repairs, and handles ship’s business under the direction of the Officer of the Watch
• Prepare for trip and load cargo and ship’s shores
• Stands watch while vessel is underway as required in order to reach destination safely and expeditiously
• Steer ship under direction of navigation officer, following designated course
• Ascend and descend stairs and ladders, sometimes while transporting tools or objects
• Maintains the cleanliness of the vessel
