JOB SUMMARY

The Captain - LCT is responsible for the command, navigation, and operational readiness of the landing craft during marine transit and cargo transport operations. 

 

REQUIREMENT / QUALIFICATION

• Must hold a sea vessel captain license
• Niyami course must be successfully completed
• Certified to operate vessels minimum 250 tonnes
• Excellent social / people skills
• Confidence in written and spoken communication
• Problem solving mindset
• Energetic, outgoing, pleasant and friendly personality
• Motivated, dedicated and positive attitude
• Ability to work under pressure, meet operational deadlines, and function independently with minimum supervision
• Physically and mentally fit for marine duties
• Friendly, approachable, and discreet with sensitive information
• Past experience in a related field will be an added advantage
