Job Description

General Requirements

  • Board Certified / Unencumbered License or registration from home country
  • Minimum Post Graduate Specialist Degree in Endocrinology
  • Minimum 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities
  • Additional Fellowship/ Boards preferred
  • Adaptable and able to work in a multicultural team
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English

 

Job Specification

  • Respond to patients’ medical problems by reviewing their history, physical examination and investigations, reaching to a probable diagnosis, appropriate evidence based treatment, counseling and referral where necessary.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage various endocrine disorders, such as diabetes, thyroid diseases, osteoporosis, and PCOS.
  • Analyze laboratory tests and diagnostic images to identify the root causes of hormone imbalances.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies to manage hormonal disorders, including surgery when necessary.
  • Order and interpret tests related to endocrine function, including blood tests, biopsies, and imaging.
  • Educate patients and families about the best ways to manage endocrine disorders, including self-care and preventive measures.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records for each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and quality care for patients.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development programs to stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements in the field.
