• Board Certified / Unencumbered License or registration from home country
• Minimum Post Graduate Specialist Degree in Gastroenterology
• Minimum 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities
• Additional Fellowship/ Boards preferred
• Adaptable and able to work in a multicultural team
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English

 

Job Specification

• Conducts consultations and providing diagnosis, treatment, and management for patients with gastrointestinal disorders
• Performs endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy, gastroscopy, and sigmoidoscopy
• Interpreting diagnostic tests and imaging studies to determine the best course of treatment
• Collaborating with other specialists and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans keeping up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in the field of gastroenterology
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients
• Adhering to hospital policies and protocols to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
