Position: Field Support Technician – ICT & Systems
Salary Range: MVR 10,000 – MVR 15,000

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Field Support Technician to join our technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of ICT systems across a range of technologies, including networking, surveillance, satellite communication, and vehicle/vessel tracking systems. You will be expected to perform on-site maintenance, including at remote client locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and maintenance of:
  • Networking and security systems
  • Surveillance systems
  • Satellite communication systems
  • Vehicle and vessel tracking systems
• Conduct regular maintenance visits to client sites, including remote locations (Must be able to travel outside of Malé on notice for multiple days)
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality service

Qualifications & Experience

• Educational background in Information Technology, Electronics, Engineering, or a related technical field, OR 
• Technical experience with configuring and maintaining IT/electronics systems
• Fluent in written and spoken English

Requirements

• Must possess a valid motorcycle and driving license

• Basic knowledge of ICT systems, tools, and diagnostics
• This role may be better suited for those who have completed their studies or gained professional experience in the field as it is a full-time position.

Salary & Benefits

• Competitive salary between MVR 10,000 – MVR 15,000 (based on experience)
