Job Description

Key Objectives

Responsible for carrying out duties related to calling, conducting prayers, responsible for the upkeep of Mosque and assisting HR team in the team welfare activities

Requirements / Qualification

•   Holding level 03 certificate of Imam
•   Must have the permit for conducting Friday prayer
•   Having Qaaree course completed can be an advantage
•   Fluency in English is desirable
•   Should be interested to be a part of a diverse team, willing to adapt to island life

Key duties / Responsibilities

• To call for all 5 prayers in compliance with the schedules issued by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and to conduct the prayer for Team members and guests visiting the mosque during prayer times
• To conduct all 05prayers and any other obligatory prayers advised by the Ministry of Islamic affairs.
• Perform Tarawees by following the appropriate schedules
•  Perform Friday prayers
•  Solely responsible for the cleanliness in and around the Mosque by doing regular cleaning and advising Human Resources if any periodic clean up initiatives required
•  Assist Human Resources department for carrying out team welfare activities besides the regular prayer duties
