General Requirements

• Bachelor/Master of Pharmacy
• Minimum 5 years of experience with 2 years of experience in a 150 bed hospital
• Experience as Senior Pharmacist/Pharmacy Supervisor
• Registered at a licensing authority
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

Job Specification

• Control inventory levels and material indenting process according to consumption
• Establish billing and pricing structures for pharmaceuticals
• Ensure delivery of quality pharmacy services
• Ensure the correct dispensing of medications
• Staff roster and shift management
• Liaise with doctors, nurses and other health care professionals to ensure the safe, effective and economic delivery of drug treatment
• Ensure medicines are stored appropriately as per product specification
• Participate in semi-annual stock take and its reconciliation process
• Plan and supervise the activities in the hospital pharmacy areas
• Update working and clinical knowledge regularly and help others to update their knowledge
• Participate in meetings and discussions in regards to In-patient Pharmacy workflow and processes to ensure optimal Pharmacy services
