Job Description

 TERMS OF REFERENCE (TOR)

 Post:                           Intern – (IT Development)

Reporting to:            Software Engineer   

 

Key tasks, responsibilities, and deliverables: 

  • Work under the guidance of developers.
  • Provide support in the development of secure applications to be used within the corporation. 
  • Provide support in the development of the website and its contents.
  • Provide support in writing, revising, and maintaining software documentation, operation documentation, and user guidelines in accordance with standards.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications Required: 

  • Candidates who are seeking a career path in a relevant field.

Personal Skills and Other Competencies required: 

  • Basic understanding and experience in HTML5 / CSS.
  • Basic understanding of SQL.
  • Basic understanding of Networks.
  • Strong commitment and willingness to work outside normal working hours if required.
  • Eagerness to learn Programming.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess and communicate issues clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.

Added advantage:

  • Basic understanding and experience with development in PHP and its frameworks (Preferably Laravel).

Remuneration:

  • MVR 150 per working day attended.

Working Hours:  

  • The selected applicant will be required to work from 0900 to 1600 on weekdays.
