Position Type: Permanent (Initial contract shall be for a period of 1 (one) year. The contract shall be renewed as permanent based on performance upon successful completion of one year.)

 

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Business or Sales & Marketing or any other relevant field
• Minimum 1 year work experience of Sales, Marketing or in a related field
• Computer skills with knowledge of MS Office Applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dhivehi and English
• Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Able to work independently and adhere to tight reporting deadline
• Pleasant personality

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sell insurance products by establishing contact with prospective clients and make timely follow ups
• Prepare and Issue quotation for customers, conducting necessary surveys and negotiate with customer in liaison with the Underwriting department and Customer Service department in offering terms required by the customer
• Represent the Company in sales trips, campaigns, exhibitions, roadshows, or fairs to promote products and generate leads.
• Build and maintain meaningful relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling
• Ensure appropriate and timely delivery of service for customers maintaining high standards of customer service
• Participate, assist and accomplish any other work if requested by immediate Supervisor and/or Head of Section and Senior Management
