Job Description

 

Job Overview: 

Monitoring the quality and accuracy of on-air signals as well as ensuring the transmission meets government regulations and the station’s high standards. Additional responsibilities include reporting equipment malfunctions and preparing program log for playout. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

1. Maintaining the smooth broadcast of the channels 24/7 

2. Making the daily schedule log and approving it by the Technical & Operations Manager 03 days before scheduled air-time. 

3. Managing/ Archiving On-Air content as directed by the Technical & Operations Manager. 

4. Perform On-Air operator roll for LIVE Shows, Events and Recorded shows. 

5. Check on-air content for censorship, production errors and report to respected producer(s) or to Technical & Operations Manager. 

6. Verify all material airing by referencing program logs. 

7. Monitor on-air signals for quality control and if any quality is compromised report to Technical & Operations Manager immediately. 

8. Perform other duties as assigned
