General Requirements

• MQA approved Diploma / Degree in Physiotherapy
• Must have a valid registration and license from Maldives Allied Health Council
• Must be fluent in English and Dhivehi
• Experience as a physiotherapist will be an added advantage

 

Job Specification

• 40 minutes one on one treatment sessions for each patient
• Examine patients and make treatment plans on their first appointment
• Educate patients about the advantages, disadvantages, risks and alternatives regarding a proposed treatment
• Educate patients the exercises and treatments they can practice at home and how to examine the progress
• Maintain confidentiality and impartiality of the patients 
• Evaluate the effectiveness of current treatments and suggest improvements
• Any other work assigned by Head of the Department
