Job Description

The Nurse is responsible to assist the Resort Doctor in providing medical care for guests and colleagues.

The Role

• Provides courteous service to patients by maintaining a friendly, neat and professional image at all times.
• Responsible for the daily nursing and treatment of minor injuries.
• Maintains medical equipment and apparatus efficiently.
• Provides room service treatment to guests requesting medical attention.Makes monthly report on medical expenses incurred, and treatments done.
• Assists Resort Doctor in coordinating with government agencies on medical and hygiene matters.
• Assists Resort Doctor in preparing monthly reports and in maintaining medical files.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of the clinic.
• Maintains highest levels of personal hygiene at all times.
• Ensure that company and statutory hygiene standards are maintained in all work areas.
• Carries full responsibility of the medical supply stocks and inventory.
• Apply and adhere to rules and regulations as per colleague's handbook, departmental and resort policies and procedures, including those for the emergency situations
• Be fully aware about all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures.
• Report any issue or damages and breakdowns within working areas and the resort to ensure a defect-free facilities and service amenities provided.
• Ensures all activities are carried out honestly, ethically and within the parameters of the Maldivian Law.

Requirements and Qualifications

Minimum Experience

5 Years

Minimum Qualification

Diploma

•  University Degree/Diploma in Nursing
•  Must have valid registration from the Maldives Medical Council
•  Completion of recent IELTS exam with band score of 5 and above
