- Assisting operations manager with the operations

- Conducts briefings at the start of new shifts to inform Security Officers of pertinent information regarding campus and safety/ security matters.

- Schedules security personnel to cover designated facilities and shifts.

- Patrols assigned areas, checking for fires, vandalism, suspicious activity or persons or safety/fire hazards.

- Responds to alarms and dispatched calls; decides what actions to take based on situation, facts known and position limitations

. - Make surprise inspections to see if all security officers are in their assigned places

- Are responsible for all that happens during their shift; hence, they have to make reports on all of it

- Train all the new security officers regarding all the security Policy and Procedures.

- Fill posts at duty points in case of staff shortage due to unexpected absenteeism/sick leaves, etc.

- Following instructions from seniors as per the law and regulations.
