Job Description

We are looking for a qualified individual to lead our accounts department.

No. of Positions: 01

Required Qualification: ACCA level 2 or Accounting and Finance degree with minimum 2 years work experience (experience in catering and hospitality industry would be an added advantage)

Main Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Oversee company’s financial activities, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end financial close processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations, handle tax filings and documentation.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports and statements.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations for improving processes and financial performance.

Knowledge & Skill Requirement

• Knowledge of Accounting principles and
• Management of financial resources
• Analytical and critical thinking
• Knowledge of practices and procedures needed for Purchasing and Material Management
• Familiarity with tax laws and compliance requirements
• Knowledge of Administration and People Management would be an added advantage

Salary and Benefits

• MVR 18,000 to 20,000 (negotiable based on qualification and experience)
