Job Description

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) PLC, established in January 2004, is the only specialized housing finance institution in the Maldives. HDFC is a privatized company with International Shareholders represented by the International Finance Corporation (IFC of World Bank Group), Asian Development Bank, and HDFC Bank Ltd. of India, jointly holding 51% of shares.

Job Title: Software Developer

Department: IT Department

Job Type: Contract (Full-Time)

Term of Contract: 12 months (Based on performance employee will be given a permanent contract)

Job Description

• Designing, coding and building custom solutions
• Testing and debugging issues that arise in the development process.
• Provide online technical support for customers and staff.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and design solutions to meet those needs.
• Troubleshoot Application, Web services and Mobile Applications.
• Maintain and upgrade existing Microsoft applications.

Job Requirements

• Should have a minimum education of bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of programming experience in Next JS framework, ReactJS (typescript), MongoDB and familiar with SQL Server, API, Web services and Mobile Application.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of software development principles.

Working Hours: The selected candidate will be required to work from 08:00 to 16:00 hrs from Sunday – Thursday.
