Job Description

We are seeking a creative and skilled Videographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality video content that aligns with our company’s vision. This role requires a strong technical background, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to tell compelling stories through visuals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Filming on Set and Location: Capture high-quality video content in diverse settings, ensuring the project's vision is realized while adapting to various environments for optimal visual outcomes.
2. Video Editing: Edit and enhance footage to produce polished, professional-quality videos. Apply techniques such as color grading, sound design, and motion graphics to ensure alignment with project goals and aesthetic standards.
3. Adaptability in Dynamic Environments: Excel in fast-paced settings such as live events or on-location shoots, making quick decisions and problem-solving effectively to capture the best footage.
4. Team Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with crew members to ensure seamless production. Manage multiple tasks while maintaining open and efficient communication with all team members.
5. Creative Input and Attention to Detail: Contribute fresh ideas to enhance the creative vision. Pay close attention to details like framing, lighting, and visual aesthetics to ensure the highest quality footage.
6. Professional Communication: Clearly articulate ideas, directions, and feedback to clients and team members. Maintain consistent communication to address production adjustments or client requests promptly.
7. Physical Endurance and Stamina: Be prepared for extended periods of standing, moving, and holding equipment during shoots, particularly in on-location or live event scenarios.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dhivehi and English.
• Proficiency in operating cameras, lighting, and sound equipment, with a good understanding of video composition and framing techniques.
• Familiarity with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools will be considered a significant advantage.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and in high-pressure environments.
• Willingness to work in dynamic environments, including on-location shoots and live events, with flexible hours when required.
• Ability to conceptualize and execute visually engaging video content that aligns with project goals and audience preferences.
• Comfortable working closely with clients, directors, and team members to achieve project objectives.
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous videography and editing projects will be an added advantage.

Minimum Experience:

At least 1 year of professional experience in videography or a related field is preferred. However, fresh candidates with exceptional skills and passion are encouraged to apply.
