Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Admin and HR Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities in both English and Dhivehi, and a proactive approach to HR functions. If you are looking to contribute to a positive work environment while managing vital administrative tasks, we want to hear from you!

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong administration skills in daily operations.
  • Utilize business software, particularly Microsoft Office, for various tasks.
  • Manage emails, letters, packages, phone calls, and other forms of correspondence efficiently.
  • Coordinate appointments and meetings while managing staff calendars and schedules.
  • Interact with directors and carry out their requests promptly.
  • Perform all-around secretarial duties as required.
  • Oversee personnel records including contracts and HR documentation.
  • Assist the HR department with the recruitment and induction process for new hires.
  • Monitor and maintain records for annual leave, holidays, and other types of leave for staff.
  • Ensure accurate recording of staff movements such as leaves and absences.
  • Complete probation reviews and performance appraisals in a timely manner.
  • Prepare contracts or extension letters for staff as needed.
  • Maintain daily/monthly staff attendance records.
  • Keep all staff files organized and up-to-date.
  • Proactively address staff grievances to foster a positive working environment.
  • Provide additional support as required by management.

    • Solution-oriented, results-focused, goal-driven individual who displays integrity and accountability.
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to set priorities, manage workloads, and handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, email applications, and internet usage.
    • Capable of building rapport with diverse groups within the community.
    • Exceptional written and spoken communication skills in both Dhivehi and English.
