About Us:
Symphony Maldives Pvt Ltd is one of the leading hospitality and catering service providers in the Maldives, operating guesthouses, restaurants, and corporate catering services. We are seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented Assistant Manager, Finance & Accounts to strengthen our Finance & Accounts Department.

Role Overview:
The Assistant Manager, Finance & Accounts will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of payments, financial compliance, and control processes. The role ensures accurate disbursement of payments, adherence to statutory requirements, and maintenance of strong internal financial controls. This is a key role that works closely with the Directors for financial approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all payment processing, including vendor invoices, staff salaries, tax settlements, petty cash reimbursements, and ad-hoc disbursements.
• Validate, prepare, and process payment schedules for Director approval.
• Ensure timely filing of taxes, and other statutory obligations.
• Maintain a compliance calendar to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
• Review supplier reconciliations, petty cash reports, and financial postings for accuracy.
• Oversee month-end closing and support preparation of financial reports.
• Provide weekly and monthly reporting on payables, tax obligations, and compliance status.

• Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting or financial control
  • Understanding of tax and compliance requirements in the Maldives.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
