Job Description

Position:                        Associate

 

Working Hours:           8:00 am to 4:30 pm (Sun-Thurs)

 

Salary:                           MVR 15,000 – MVR 20,000 (negotiable depending on experience)

 

Requirements:             - Qualifying law degree

                                      - Admitted to the Maldives Bar

                                      - Qualified to attend the High Court (added advantage)

                                      - Eloquent communication skills

                                      - Punctual and reliable

                                      - Minimum 2 years or more experience in legal practice

 

Responsibilities:        - Litigation and case management

                                      - Providing legal opinions

                                      - Research and drafting of legal instruments

                                      - Legal translations (Dhivehi and English)

                                      - Drafting and reviewing of contracts

                                      - Managing corporate transactions

 

Probation Period:        3 Months (Upon completion of the Probation Period, depending on performance a one-year contract shall be offered and the tenure shall be extended accordingly)
