Job Description

Job responsibilities

* Maintain and repair the ship's hull, rigging and deck equipment
* Operate deck machinery, such as winches and cranes
* Oversee and coordinate deck crew activities
* Ensure the safety of the crew and the vessel
* Conduct drills and safety procedures
* Perform navigational duties
* Carry out watch duties
* Complete ship's paperwork and reports

Skills and qualification

1.Proficiency in fire prevention & fire fighting.
2.Proficiency in elementary first aid.
3.Proficiency in personal survival techniques.
4.Proficiency in personal safety & social responsibility.
5.Proficiency in survival craft & rescue boats other then fast rescue boat.
6.Navigation watch rating course.
7.Proficiency in basic oil and chemical tanker operations.
8.Anti-pircay awareness.
9.Proficiency in ship security awareness.
10.Marine environmental awareness.
11.Proficiency in designated security dutys.
