Job Title: Carpentry Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpentry Operations Manager to join our team and play a key role in overseeing and optimizing our carpentry operations. Job Responsibilities:

As a Carpentry Operations Manager, you will:

1. Team Leadership:

• Lead and supervise carpentry teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure optimal team performance.

Project Management:

• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of carpentry projects to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with project managers and other departments for effective project coordination.

Resource Management:

• Efficiently allocate labor, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements.
• Manage inventory levels, coordinate procurement, and minimize waste.

Quality Assurance:

• Establish and enforce quality standards, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance.
• Implement corrective actions to address quality issues as needed.

Safety and Compliance:

• Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations and codes.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for carpentry teams.

Client Relations:

• Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to understand project requirements.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and address client concerns.

Budget Oversight:

• Develop and manage budgets, monitor project costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in carpentry operations.
• Stay informed about industry trends and implement changes to enhance overall efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in carpentry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with safety standards and building codes.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Carpentry or Construction Management is a plus).
