Job Description

Job Summary

A Cashier's primary role is to assist customers in the in-store check-out process. Main cashier duties and responsibilities include handle cash, credit, or check transactions with customers, bagging items, counting the contents of the cash register drawer at the end of each shift, maintaining receipts, records, and withdrawals. May be responsible for checking materials and supplies and reporting when stock is low.

• Basic math skills
• Attention to detail

 

Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Computer literate
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Readily adjusts schedule, tasks, and priorities when necessary to meet business needs
