Job Description

We are currently seeking a Chief Dive Guide for a luxury liveaboard operating in the enchanting Maldives, who will be responsible for leading and facilitating diving excursions, providing guidance to guests, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable underwater experience.  

Requirements: 

• PADI certified dive master or higher, in active status 
• Minimum of 5 year of professional dive work experience 
• Maintain certifications in first aid, CPR, and other relevant emergency response procedures. 
• Be physically fit and agile to perform the duties associated with diving, including assisting guests in and out of the water. 
• Demonstrate awareness of marine environments, local dive sites, and ecological considerations 
• Guest-oriented mindset 
• Proficient in English 
• Enthusiastic about working with a diverse, multinational clientele 

Essential Responsibilities: 

• Lead and guide diving activities to ensure an outstanding guest experience 
• Ensure that diving equipment is in proper working condition and conduct regular checks to prevent malfunctions. 
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety and adherence to diving protocols 
• Promote sales of diving packages and services 
• Communicate effectively with guests, creating a positive and engaging atmosphere 
• Foster a team-oriented approach to maintain a high standard of service
