Job Description

Job Responsibility

• Provide high-quality and timely investment advisory support to facilitate corporate investment and capital budgeting decisions.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of our business and related industries through research and analysis of financial statements and market data.
• Keep abreast of market developments, new investment products, and related factors.
• Develop financial models and analytical tools to gain a deeper understanding of industries for mergers and acquisitions.
• Evaluate business proposals with a complete analysis of the economic environment.
• Monitor key industry developments and perform any other tasks and additional responsibilities as assigned by the head of the company.
• Stay informed about new, value-added, and/or unusual information.
• Possess knowledge and understanding of financial and accounting activities specific to the company.
• Build and nurture relationships while facilitating information flow with external and internal partners.
• Independently perform quantitative and qualitative evaluations of potential investment opportunities and prepare financial reports to support investment recommendations.
• Demonstrate strong industry knowledge and business judgment.

 

Requirements 

- Degree in relevant fields ( in Finance , Accounting) or professional qualification CIMA, ACCCA, CFA, CA.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience 
- A solid team player with excellent written applied for and oral communication skills in English 
- Ability to pay attention to details coupled with good analytical skills and problem solving capabilities 
- Extensive knowledge of financial concepts in corporate finance , evaluation methods and accounting 
along with financial report
- Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel including office 365, Microsoft dynamics
- Previous banking sector experience will be an added advantage
