Job Description

Post: Clinical Psychologist

Department: Child Development Center (Hulhumale’ Hospital)

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

  • Must have either a current registration or must be eligible to register with the Maldives Allied Health Council to work as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Experience in working with children with disabilities and their families

 

SCOPE OF WORK

  • Working in the field of childhood disability with children aged between 0 -18 years of age and their families
  • Be part of an interdisciplinary team of experienced occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and a development pediatrician.
  • Be part of a Developmental assessment team that contribute to parent education, so you will need to enjoy taking part in parent education seminars and community education
  • Identify psychological, emotional or behavioral issues
  • Diagnose psychological, emotional or behavioral disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans and therapeutic processes
