Job Description

Position: CONSTRUCTION MANAGER                   

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Meeting with potential clients & onboarding new projects.
• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality work within project timescales.
• Prepare work schedule, staff allocation and ensure site works are done as per schedule.
• Oversee the procurement of equipment and materials.
• Oversee and monitor activities at worksites.
• Prevent and manage challenges by regularly reviewing timings, budget, labour, risk and project plans to ensure work stays on track
• Assist to secure all required permits for the projects.
• Coordinate meeting between logistics and deliverables.
• Being an effective leader to boost staff morale, ensuring that there is good teamwork and coordination at the work sites.
• Act as a point of contact for vendors, subcontractors and site staff.
• Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.

Desirables:

• Diploma in a construction related or business management field.
• At least 5 years work experience in a leadership role in the construction industry.
• Highly proactive attitude, detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong resilience and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to keep track of multiple projects.
• Should be able to read & understand blueprints & related documents.
• Ability to interpret and build according to drawings & to specifications.
• Computer literate & must possess a valid driver’s license.

Remuneration:             MVR 18,000 Per month.
