Job Description

General Requirements

• MD, Completed residency or fellowship program in Neurosurgery
• Minimum 6 years’ documented Neurosurgical experience
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
• Ability to work autonomously, sharing information and discussing clinical cases management with the other members of the team
• Experience in international and multi-cultural environment is an added advantage

 

Job Specification

• Assess, diagnose and treats conditions by reviewing patient’s history, physical examination and investigations using evidence based treatment, counselling and referral when necessary
• Performs surgery on the brain and spinal cord to treat disorders or injuries such as tumors, infections, trauma, birth defects, or vascular abnormalities
• Prescribe medications to treat pain and other symptoms pre-operative and post-operative care
• Discuss treatment plans with patients and families to ensure that everyone understands the risks and benefits of the proposed procedure
• Performs diagnostic tests such as MRI scans, CT scans, and EEGs to evaluate neurological problems
• Conducts research to develop new surgical techniques or improve existing ones
• Documents all Patients evaluations, treatments, medications and transactions according to company policies and procedures
