Job Description

General Requirements

• Diploma or B.Sc. in Clinical Neurophysiology Technology
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
• Registered at a licensing authority
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

 

Job Specification

• Conduct tests or studies such as electroencephalography (EEG), video EEG monitoring for long hours, polysomnography (PSG), nerve conduction studies (NCS), evoked potential (Eps), electromyography (EMG), and intraoperative monitoring (IOM)
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, or repair equipment and correct malfunctions as needed
• Clean and maintain equipment (EEG machine and accessories)
• Perform positive airway pressure titration studies and score polysomnographic studies
• Indicate artifacts or interferences derived from sources outside of the brain, such as poor electrode contact or patient movement, on electroneurodiagnostic recordings
• Submit reports to physicians summarizing test results
• Assist in training technicians, medical students or other staff members
• Provide support to the Diagnostics Team as a whole
