Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and assertive Maldivian for the post of Employee Relations Manager at Alia Construction (Pvt) Ltd. The ER Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive employee relations and fostering a productive and harmonious work environment within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement employee relations strategies that foster positive relationships and a productive work environment
• Manage employee grievances and ensure fair application of policies
• Advise management on employee relations matters
• Mediate discussions between employees and management to resolve conflicts
• Ensure compliance with company laws and regulations
• Collaborate with HR and Management to address performance-related issues and develop appropriate corrective action plans
• Collaborate with HR and Management to develop and implement disciplinary procedures and processes
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations documentation and records.
• Other works that may be necessary

Requirements:

• Fluent in oral and written English and Dhivehi
• Fluent in verbal Hindi
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Computer literate and well-versed in MS Office
• Being an Ex-Serviceman (Police/MNDF) or experience in a related field will be an added advantage
