Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Maldivian for the post of Equipment & Tools Manager at Alia Construction (Pvt) Ltd. The Equipment & Tools Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, inventory, and proper functioning of all vehicles, equipment and tools used by the company, ensuring it is in good working order, safe to operate, and readily available when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate inventory of all vehicles, equipment and tools, their condition and usage
• Collaborating with management to forecast equipment needs for upcoming projects
• Implementing a Check-In and Check-Out System
• Planning equipment maintenance
• Ordering replacement parts and managing repair schedules
• Ensuring equipment meets safety standards and industry regulations
• Investigation equipment accidents and implementing corrective actions
• Ensuring equipment meets safety standards and industry regulations
• Other works that may be necessary

Requirements:

• Able to work long hours and have no reservations in working at project sites outside Male'
• Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Computer literate and well-versed in MS Office
• Being an Ex-Serviceman (Police/MNDF/any other such entity) or experience in a related field will be an added advantage
