Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Excavator Operator to join our growing construction team.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Operate heavy equipment to move, load and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction.
2. Safe operation of excavator on both public and private roadways.
3. Execution of excavation and related tasks such as backfilling as per the requirements.
4. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refuel equipment.
5. Performs necessary repairs and adjustments to equipment.
6. Transportation of heavy equipment to and from the project sites.

 

Requirements:

1. Ability to operate heavy machineries.
2. Holds a heavy vehicle driving license (Category E or equivalent international license).
3. Knowledge of excavation procedures and techniques.
4. Ability to follow instructions and execute excavation plans.
5. Excellent mechanical and problem solving skills.
6. Good hand-eye-foot coordination and sense of balance.
7. Phyiscal fitness for working in challenging environments.
8. Ability to travel and work in the islands for long period of time.
