Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Fire Engineer to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of all fire alarm and fire suppression systems. The role involves installation, maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting across various fire safety systems, contributing to a safe and compliant work environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems across multiple brands and technologies.
  • Install, service, and diagnose both Addressable and Conventional fire alarm systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure systems function correctly and comply with safety standards.
  • Test and verify fire alarm devices and components to maintain reliability.
  • Provide technical support, addressing fire alarm and safety system concerns promptly.
  • Oversee installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of FM 200 fire suppression systems.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) and insulation maintenance for FM 200 systems.
  • Inspect, test, and maintain fire pumps, including hydrant and portable pumps.
  • Conduct inspections and maintenance of key fire suppression systems, including:
    • Kitchen hood fire systems
    • LPG gas systems
    • FM 200 systems
    • Sprinkler systems
    • Fire pump rooms
  • Manage and maintain fuel tank water drenching systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve system issues and implement fire safety solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience with fire alarm and fire suppression systems in industrial or commercial environments.
  • Technical knowledge of Addressable and Conventional fire alarm systems and FM 200 fire suppression systems.
  • Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple sites.
