Purpose: The lecturer is primarily responsible for the delivery and assessment of assigned modules and will be actively coordinating accounting programs of the college. Lecturer will also be expected to play a very active role in the academic direction of modules and programs including teaching, learning, assessment and administration.

Scope of Work:

• Coordinate & deliver Accounting and Finance related modules
• Work proactively in improving existing programs
• Contribute to the design and development of new courses and programs.
• Carry out assessment, monitoring and evaluation of examination and coursework & providing an academic guidance and consultative support to students
• Be committed to educational quality in deliverance and improvements.

Person Specification:

Overall, the successful candidates will be expected to make a significant contribution to the teaching profile of the College and should:

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher or professional Accounting Qualifications.
• Be highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
• Have minimum 2 years work experience as a Lecturer in the field of Accounting/Finance.
• Experience in teaching ACCA modules will be an added advantage.
• Have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to work effectively as part of an integrated team in the college.

Remuneration:    15,000 – 20,000 depending on qualifications and experience
