Job Description

• Navigating and operating the boat.

• Ensuring safety equipment is in place and up to date.

• Inspecting the boat to ensure efficient and safe operation of the vessel and equipment and their conformity to regulations.

• Overseeing the work of the crew and assigning duties.

• Managing the boat's maintenance and repairs.

• Maintaining contact with the Coast Guard about weather conditions and port procedures.

• Maintaining all onboard equipment, and keeping detailed records of daily activities, personnel reports, boat positions and movements, weather conditions, passenger and cargo status.
