Job Description

General Requirements

• Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering
• At least 2 years’ hands on experience in a similar role
• Well-versed with steam boilers, industrial kitchen and laundry equipment repair and maintenance
• Proven ability to work effectively and independently
• Ability to communicate effectively in spoken & written English and Dhivehi.

 

Job Specification

• Responsible to complete activities on the preventive maintenance schedule ensuring every kitchen and laundry equipment are in safe working operating condition
• Perform general repair and maintenance works related to kitchen, laundry and electrical equipment on a timely basis to ensure uninterrupted kitchen and laundry service
• Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures
• Actively participate in the energy conservation programs of the department
• Ensure that all required data for the reports are collected
• To assist in every aspect of operation as requested
