Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
• Conduct site analysis to assess environmental factors, such as soil quality, drainage, and vegetation, and incorporate findings into design solutions.
• Develop conceptual designs, including sketches, renderings, and models, to illustrate proposed landscape plans.
• Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for landscape projects.
• Select appropriate plant species, materials, and construction techniques for each project, considering factors such as climate, soil conditions, and maintenance requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to integrate landscape designs with existing structures and infrastructure.
• Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring that deadlines are met and costs are controlled.
• Oversee the implementation of landscape projects, including site preparation, planting, and construction, to ensure that designs are executed according to specifications.
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, interns, and contractors involved in landscape projects.
• Stay informed about current trends, technologies, and best practices in landscape architecture, and incorporate new ideas into design solutions.
