Job Description

• Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and other textile items
• Remove stains from items using the appropriate procedures
• Maintain all areas of the laundry including laundry processing equipment and linen cupboard in clean, hygienic and tidy condition
• Ensure all chemicals used in the laundry room are replenished
• Ensure all household linen of residents and guests personal clothing are disinfected and processed at the correct temperature according to the type of fabric
• Assist fellow laundry attendants in loading and unloading laundry washers and dryers
• Organize linen and load on carts and put up neatly on the linen storage racks
