Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

• Successful completion of Advanced Level education or an equivalent credential is required.
• A diploma in accounting or a business degree will be considered a significant asset.
• At least two years of experience in a financial team or similar role is essential.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities are necessary.
• Candidates should have a welcoming persona, a drive for self-direction, adaptability, and a readiness to embrace duties and initiative.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly MS Excel and MS Word) and QuickBooks is mandatory.
• The capability to operate autonomously with little to no oversight is a must.
• The capacity to remain composed and perform efficiently in demanding or high-pressure situations.
• Experience with Goods and Services Tax (GST) processes will be beneficial.

Key Duties:

• Manage and document petty cash transactions.
• Create payment vouchers and coordinate with suppliers regarding invoicing and related matters.
• Compile GST input data for the preparation of monthly GST returns.
• Help uphold the organizational filing system to ensure accurate record-keeping of all varieties.
• Support management with various administrative tasks.
• Carry out additional duties pertinent to the role as assigned by the departmental leader.
