Job Description

Job Title: MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) Technician (Expatriates)

Reporting To: Operations Manager

Job Profile and Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diversified tasks in Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC services, ensuring all work meets company quality standards.
• Conduct routine visual inspections of systems and equipment to identify malfunctions or potential issues.
• Assist in power generation, transmission, and distribution operations.
• Work with high and low voltage equipment, following safety protocols.
• Carry out installation, maintenance, service repairs, and troubleshooting of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Install, repair, and maintain chilled water, steam, heat, water, gas, drainage, sewage, and other plumbing systems.
• Inspect and repair plumbing components such as joints, valves, pumps, boilers, heaters, sinks, commodes, tanks, and fixtures.
• Dismantle defective devices, replace faulty parts, and ensure compliance with manufacturer’s specifications.
• Test and calibrate systems using precision measuring instruments to confirm proper operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical-related tasks as assigned.
• Support HVAC technicians in equipment repair, installation, start-up, and operation to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials used, and project progress.
• Ensure timely ordering of required parts and materials to meet project deadlines.
• Monitor service vehicles to confirm they are properly maintained and stocked with necessary tools and parts.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch, and clients to provide updates on job status and completion timelines.Collaborate with other departments and assist managers as required.
• Ensure efficient task execution to maintain smooth business operations.
• Strictly follow company systems, policies, and procedures as prescribed by FXPM.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Age between 18 and 35 years.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work; HVAC knowledge is an added advantage.
• Should be able to work, day and night shift
• Must be in good health and should not be a smoker
• Proficiency in spoken English.
• Willingness to work extended hours, including flexibility for irregular schedules, while maintaining consistent punctuality.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
