Job Description

Haafai is a tech company building SaaS solutions that empower businesses, we're looking for a skilled Developer to join our growing team in Hulhumale’, Republic of Maldives.   The Role: As a Developer at Haafai, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of our software platforms. You'll work collaboratively within our talented development team to deliver high-quality, scalable, and robust solutions that meet the evolving needs of our users and contribute directly to the success of our products.   What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality, scalable .NET-based applications and services.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning and design to testing and release.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Contribute to code reviews and share your knowledge with the team.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a .NET Developer with a strong understanding of software development principles.
• Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework (including ASP.NET Core, Web API).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
