Job Description

The NOC Security Engineer is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications. The successful candidate will be part of a 24/7 on-call team that ensures the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle, Validate and Investigate Security Events (Intrusions/Malicious Activity/Security Events)
• Review and analyze logs files, system messages, event details, and network packets for Investigations
• Assist in Alert handling process and documentations update
• Assist in Alert Fine Tuning for specific Network Perimeter Défense Technology
• Identify Security Risk based on the current security alert patterns.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues related to infrastructure, applications, and end-user devices
• Preparation of monthly security incident reports and presentations

Technical Requirements:

• Knowledge about the (Cyber) Security Incident Lifecycle / Processes
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with typical active or passive security solutions like SIEM, IDS/IPS etc.
• Knowledge about fundamental concepts of networking and operating systems and the ability for continuous improvement.
• Experience as a Cyber incident analyst or similar in the line of SOC/CDC/CERT. work (e.g. security monitoring and detection, host and network security event analysis, threat and attack vector analysis etc.).
• Knowledge of network protocols and security best practices
