Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Operational level understanding of the requirement of clients
• Site surveying and conducting technical feasibility studies
• Designing and commissioning of solar photovoltaic and related systems
• Inspecting solar photovoltaic systems during and after the system installation
• Testing and diagnosing solar photovoltaic and related electrical systems
• Interacting with clients using verbal and written communication
• Preparing cost estimates, bill of quantities and proposals
• Leading and supervision of technicians during the system installation
• Coordinating with projects management team for execution of projects

 

Skills and Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Dhivehi language
• Writing skills for preparing reports, manuals, proposals, and design documentation
• Ability to understand complex electrical systems and components
• Ability to lead, teamwork and giving attention to details of the work
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Ability to understand Gantt Charts and managing project schedules to meet deadlines
• Ability to travel and work remotely depending on the project location
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and computer aided design software such as AutoCAD
• Holding a URA certified license for carrying out engineering works would be an advantage
• Self-motivation to keep up with current electrical advances using new technologies
