Job Description

We are looking for a energetic and ethusiastic candidate for the post "Projects Manager" to work with us in solar pv projects.

 

Responsibilities:

• Coordination with engineering team to conduct site survey and assess feasibility of developing projects
• Draft scope of work, allocate resources and estimation of the project budgets
• Create and distribute RFP’s to potential sub-contractors, establish evaluation metrics, and select winning proposals
• Manage contract negotiations, change orders, and other agreements with sub-contractors and vendors, and oversee all activities in the projects
• Develop and maintain project schedules, identify critical path, and key milestones for successful completion of projects
• Communicate with utility companies and government authorities to obtain permits necessary for implementing projects
• Identify the sources of likely problems and proactively take preventive measures to avoid any potential project risks and determine response actions to mitigate any negative impact
• Prepare project progress reports to clients and management as required

 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Construction, Business management or related field
• At least 1 (one) year experience in projects management or related field
• Strong leadership and excellent communication skills in both English and Dhivehi language
• Writing skills for preparing reports, manuals, proposals, and design documentation
• Ability to understand basic electrical systems and components
• Ability to lead, teamwork and giving attention to details of the work
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Ability to understand Gantt Charts and managing project schedules to meet deadlines
• Ability to travel and work remotely depending on the project location
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, email clients and project management software

 

Salary and Benefits:

Negotiable based on qualification and experience
