Job Description

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Vaagali  Resort Project.

Overview: We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the owner’s team
for a luxury resort construction project in the Maldives. The role requires working closely
to support the appointed labor contractors, with all materials supplied directly by the
owner. Although part of the owner’s team, the QS is expected to operate with the rigor of
a contractor, ensuring precise cost estimation, control, procurement support, and smooth
execution.
Key Responsibilities: 
• Manage IPAs, IPCs, cash flows and cost reporting. 
• Measure and value works executed by labor contractors for bill payments 
• Prepare procurement documents from drawings/specifications. 
• Conduct proposal comparisons and evaluations for procurement items. 
• Administer contracts, verify claims, and process payments. 
• Monitor material usage and prevent wastage. 
• Provide regular commercial and progress reports.
Requirements: 
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field. 
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction projects (Maldives
hospitality/resort experience preferred). 
• Strong knowledge of cost management, measurement, procurements, contracts,
and procurement processes. 
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Location: Maldives (site-based)

Salary:
• USD 2000 – 2200
