Job Description

POSITION: RETAIL MANAGER

We are seeking a suitable candidate for the position of RETAIL MANAGER for a convenience store in Amin Avenue Oak Tower, Hulhumale’.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Dealing with customer queries and complaints in a professional manner
• Maintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training new staff
• Motivate sales team to achieve targets by training and mentoring staff
• Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations
• Develop and arrange promotional material and displays
• Oversee inventory levels, place new orders, and perform quality assurance of merchandise on a regular basis
• Dealing with suppliers and issue purchase orders
• Coordinate daily staffing and staffing schedules
• Prepare reports on buying trends, customer requirements and profits

 

Requirements / Qualification:

• Minimum completed GCE O’ level
• Proven experience of at least 2 years as a retail manager or related field 
• Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles
• Excellent communication skills in both Dhivehi and English language
• Strong leadership and customer management skills
• Excellent knowledge of retail management best practices
• Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes
• Excellent knowledge of retail management software (eg: QB POS)

 

Salary & Benefits:
MVR 8,000 - 12,000 based on qualification and experience
