Job Description

o undertake sales counters and customer service duties required to operate SLYK (shop) , and be responsible for shelf filing and the overall presentation of the SLYK.

1. Operating the cash till efficiently, ensuring that all moneys received are correctly registered.
2. To serve customers courteously and efficiently ensuring that the highest standards of customer services are met at all times.
3. Preparing the required reports on time and handover of reports and cash to accounts department.
4. Attending to customers i.e. walk in and customer calls. Taking orders and preparation of quotations and invoices.
5. Monitor stock on shelves, filing to the required standard and assisting with stock counts.
6. Ensuring all stock in shelf in accordance with the Store’s security and operating procedures.
7. Ensuring that all products are displayed and maintained to the highest standards.
8. To carry out cleaning of shelving and refrigeration units when required.
9. All other appropriate duties as and when required by the Shop Manager.
